1.How did you start your company?
After graduating from university in 2011, I began floating around the animation industry doing odd jobs on different commercials and work experience projects. After a couple of years of building a small client base myself, I decided to create my own company that both produced Corporate animation as well as music videos and Live Event Visuals. After a tough first year, the company began to acquire larger clients in both corporate and entertainment industries. In 2013 we produced visuals for clients such as Ed Sheeran, Legoland and Biffy Clyro.
After initially moving from the home office to a business centre in Gosport, we settled in at Fareham Innovation Centre where we look to stay for the foreseeable future.
2.What are you working on at the moment?
Currently we are working on some large corporate animation for British Gas as well as a few other large firms across the world.
As well as our in-house team, we also employ freelancers across the country as well as offering work experience internships at Solent University, where I also lecture one day per week.
3.What do you like about Fareham Innovation Centre?
It’s a great atmosphere here and the centre provides a great environment for collaboration. The staff are exceptionally helpful and always make you feel at home. We have serviced a good portion of the businesses that reside in FIC with animation work and look forward to enjoying more success with the other businesses here in the future.
4.What projects/ambitions do you have for the future of your company?
We’d like to maintain our growth and gain work for larger organisations around the world but still maintain our very hands on approach to digital animation production. In the coming year we look to expand into producing larger screen animation at Live events as well as some work in augmented reality.
