Fareham Innovation Centre proudly celebrated its 10‑year anniversary on the 16th of December, marking a decade of supporting innovation, business growth, and entrepreneurial development within the region. Since opening in 2015, the centre has played a significant role in nurturing start‑ups, scale‑ups, and established SMEs. It provides the facilities, expertise, and community that help businesses thrive.
To commemorate this milestone, the centre welcomed customers past and present to a gathering in The Bridge Conference Suite. The event brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs, long‑standing and previous tenants, and newer members of the business community. Guests reflected on shared achievements and the centre’s continued impact.
Screens throughout the venue displayed a curated collection of photographs highlighting key moments from the past decade. The collection featured images from the construction of Phase 1, press coverage celebrating customer successes, and notable visits such as the 2017 engagement by HRH The Princess Royal. This visual timeline highlighted the centre’s evolution and the many milestones achieved by its business community.
In 2015, Fareham Innovation Centre was created as a vibrant base for engineering, marine and aerospace businesses within Hampshire’s Enterprise Zone. Since then, it has brought over 1000 jobs for the local communities and supported hundreds of businesses in their growth.
The anniversary was not only a celebration of ten years, but also a cheerful thank‑you to the customers who make this community so vibrant.
